Powerball’s First Day in Ohio
Powerball made its big debut in Ohio Friday.
The multi-state lottery game has a starting jackpot of $20 million. Mother Tucker’s Manager, Josh Bailey, says since the store opened he has sold about 30 dollars in tickets.
"People are really excited to come in and try a new game, it has been out of state and we just got it into Ohio, so we will try new things," says Bailey.
The winnings of Powerball are up to $212 million. With a jackpot that high, even Bailey is thinking about buying a ticket and trying his hand at the 1 in 195 million chance of winning.
"I would probably invest it, at this young of an age, I might buy a new car, a new house, but mostly invest it and make interest off of it," says Bailey.
Tickets are on sale for the first drawing until Saturday at 10 p.m.
