Cambridge Bank Robbers Admit Guilt

The three Columbus men charged in connection with the armed robbery of a Cambridge bank in December have now admitted to the crime. Guernsey County Prosecutor Dan Padden says guilty pleas were entered today in Common Pleas Court by Rashawn Buggs, Terrance White, Jr. and Maurice Zigler. Padden says each was convicted of aggravated robbery, kidnapping and assault in connection with the December 11th, 2009 robbery of the Westbanco Bank branch at 850 Wheeling Avenue. White was also convicted of having weapons while under a disability. Authorities say the suspects used an AK-47 gun during the robbery and were caught on I-70 in Muskingum County as they were fleeing by the Zanesville Highway Patrol. The three men will be sentenced on June 2nd.
