Bond Set for Coshocton Man Who Fled
The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office says a 31-year-old man who fled twice from deputies this weekend is facing one count of felony escape.
Prosecutor Bob Bachelor says if convicted, Jeremy Wood could face community service or up to 12 months in prison.
Wood was in Coshocton Municipal Court this morning for a hearing, where his bond was set at 25 hundred dollars.
The Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was attempting to make a traffic stop Saturday morning when Wood fled. He was found a short time later, but once Wood was put in the back of one of the cruisers, deputies say he busted through the glass and fled on foot again. K-9 Dingo later helped deputies track Wood down.
He remains at the Coshocton County Justice Center.
Bachelor says Wood could face additional charges after further review.
