Shooting on Luck Avenue

Zanesville Police investigate the shooting of a local man.

Lt. Bill Shaw said shortly after 11pm Wednesday the department received multiple 911 calls about shots fired in the Luck Avenue/Ohio Street area.

When officers arrived they found a 27-year-old male had been shot. He was flown to Grant Medical Center where he’s in critical condition.

Lt. Shaw said investigators continue to follow up on leads and that a dark colored SUV was seen possibly leaving the scene.
