Dresden Man suffers Life Threatening Injuries
A Dresden man is in critical condition with life threatening injuries following an accident Saturday morning.
The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says that just after 3am, 47-year-old David Schulteis was traveling west on State Route 208 in a white 1999 Chrysler Town and Country minivan when he failed to negotiated a curve, went left of center, and off the south side of the roadway, striking a guardrail.
His vehicle then went off the northside of the road, striking another guardrail before stopping in a field.
Schulteis was taken to Genesis Good Samaritan and then to Grant Medical Center.
Troopers say that he wasn’t wearing a seatbelts and alcohol is belived to be a factor in the crash. Blood samples were drawn and test results are unknown at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
