Military Road Accident Sends Woman To Hospital

An accident closed part Military Road  for a few hours today.The Zanesville Highway Patrol says a van driven by 45-year-old Sherry Stotts crashed into a power pole at the intersection of Military Road and Sandhurst Drive just after 8:00 Wednesday morning. American Electric Power crews spents a couple of hours replacing the power pole.  Stotts was taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital and then transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where she is listed in stable condition. Troopers say Stotts was cited with failure to maintain control.
