New Concord Woman Pleads Not Guilty to April Incident
A New Concord woman pleads not guilty to four charges before Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle this morning.
30-year-old Fonzie Cobler faced two counts of aggravated vehicular assault, one count of OVI, and one count of stopping after an accident.
The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says she struck a vehicle along Interstate 70 last month, fled the scene, hit a guardrail on an exit ramp, and hit a mailbox before troopers pulled her over . The two occupants in the other vehicle were injured and taken to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
Fleegle continued Cobler’s 50 thousand dollar cash assurity bond. Defense Attorney, Ben Whitacre, says he will discuss bond at a future date with Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cotrill.
