Accident on Coopermill Road

A two car accident sends on person to the hospital.

It happened at about 5 p.m. at the intersection of Archer Lane and Coopermill Drive.

According to Trooper Trenas Weaver with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, 44-year-old Penny Jones of Trio, Ohio attempted to turn her truck left on to Archer Lane when she turned in front of a silver SUV driven by 16 -year-old Ashley Argo of Zanesville.

Coopermill Road was blocked in both directions. Jones was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Trooper Weaver says Jones was cited for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.
