Getting Rewards for Camping

If you plan on going camping this summer, there’s a new rewards program Ohio State Parks are offering that could save you some money.

Frequent campers can sign-up for a rewards card, at www.ohiodnr.com, and for each dollar they spend at campgrounds on state parks, they can earn points that can be used for a night of free camping.

There are several of those parks in our area, including Dillon State Park, Blue Rock State Park, Burr Oak State Park, and Salt Fork State Park.

Ohio State Parks Acting Chief, John Hunter, says the reason for the rewards card is to thank campers for coming out and to keep them coming back.
