McCrae Sentenced For Shane Goins Fatal Shooting
A Zanesville man is sentenced in connection with a fatal shooting last year. Back in April 24-year-old James Tyrone McCrae plead guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter with a gun specification and one count of having a weapon under disability in connection with the shooting death of 32-year-old Shane Goins. Today Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill sentenced McCrae to 18 years in prison and he must pay just over $19,800 in restitution. The fatal shooting took place on April 4th 2009 at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Oak Street in Zanesville.
