Man Sentenced for Home Invasion

A man who participated in a Zanesville home invasion received his sentence Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

Judge Kelly Cottrill sentenced 33-year-old Ryan Viney of Zanesville to a total of seven years in prison for the burglary at 344 Linn Street in February.

Viney pled guilty last month to one count of aggravated burglary with a firearm specification and possession of criminal tools.

Authorities say Viney and 25-year-old Myron Tuttle broke into the home and robbed victims at gun point.
