Zanesville Rollover Accident Damages Truck
A rollover accident in Zanesville causes major damage to a pick-up truck.
It happened in front of 4475 West Pike around 3:15 p.m.
18-year-old Austin Brock was traveling eastbound.
"He thinks maybe he might have fallen asleep, went off the left hand side of the road, struck on embankment of the driveway, and flipped his truck at least one time, " says Falls Township Fire Chief, J.D. Johnson.
He was the only person in the pick-up truck.
"He was out of the vehicle when we got here. EMS checked him out. He’s not injured at this time. So, he’ll pretty much go home. If he starts feeling badly, he’ll give us a call, " says Johnson.
Johnson says Brock was wearing a seatbelt and the airbags in his vehicle did deploy, saving him from further injury.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol also responded to the scene. Trooper Todd Henry says Brock will be cited with failure to control.
