Robbery at Econo Lodge

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating a robbery that happened over night.

Police tell WHIZ News the Econo Lodge on North Seventh Street was robbed around 2:30 Wednesday morning.

One of the employees reported they were closing out the bar and didn’t think anyone was there when a man came out of no where, wearing a mask, and took the money they were counting on the bar and ran.

Police are still investigating.
