Wickham Sentenced to Life

A Roseville man was sentenced to life in prison Monday for rape.

68-year-old Delbert Wickham received the sentence in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court from Judge Mark Fleegle.

Wickham pled guilty last month to one first-degree-felony count of rape, in return four gross sexual imposition counts were dropped. Authorities say the charges stem crimes that occurred between August 2003 and 2005 with a victim less than 10 years old.

Wickham is eligible for parole in 10 years. If he is released he would be classified as a Tier III sex offender and be under post-release control for five years.
