Ellizabeth Street Drug Bust
Four people are under arrest after a drug bust in Perry County Monday.
The Perry County Sheriff’s Office along with the Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search at a home at 302 Elizabeth Street in New Lexington.
Kevin Starrett said the search was a result of an investigation into the trafficking of heroin occurring at the residence in front of juveniles ranging in age from 3-11. Names of those arrested aren’t being released until their cases are presented to a Perry County Grand Jury.
Deputies seized an undisclosed amount of cash, heroin, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The Crooksville Police Department and Perry County Children Services assisted at the scene.
