Five Million Containers of Formula Recalled

There’s a major recall of powder Similac formula, because it may be contaminated with insects parts. Abbott Labs says it uncovered insects last week in one of its Michigan manufacturing plants. The formula may contain a small beetle or larvae which could cause stomach problems.

The formula was sold in plastic containers and cans in 8, 12.4 and 12.9-ounce sizes.
