DRESDEN, Ohio – Children have the opportunity to discover the past of antiques and machinery.

Education of Yesterday is holding their 14th annual farm show all weekend. The goal of the show is to preserve old machinery, and teach children of this generation machines of the past. Organizer, Kendra Hindel, says this event will be enjoyable for all ages.

“We have so many great area people that bring in their collections and it’s just memories. You know, a lot of the older folks say, ‘Hey, I rode one of them, I drove one of them.’ And then the kids, ‘Oh my gosh, they look totally different from what’s out there today,'” Hindel said.

Hindel also says she has seen a great turn out of people come through even through her fear of bad weather.

“It’s been a great turnout so far and I hope it gets better. And hopefully the rain and snow will hold off,” she added.

The farm show will run again on October 21rst from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free but parking donations are appreciated.
