ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Weasel Boy Brewing is teaming up with the Farmers Market to provide a fun filled day.

On Saturday, November 3rd there will be the Farmers Market with vendors inside Weasel Boy and outside there will be the first ever Weasel 200. The Weasel 200 is a 200 step walk or run from Restoration Park to Weasel Boy and it is to raise money for Restoration Park.

Lori Wince, Co-Owner of Weasel Boy said, “We hope to raise some money for the park. Some of the things that we are doing in the park this year, we added a shed for the urban gardens so that gardeners could store their tools on site. We also hope to expand and install a natural stage.”

The race can be completed any time between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. It is $20 to participate and there will be a free adult beverage provided at the end of the race. Sara Davis, Vice President of the Farmers Market, said Weasel Boy was natural partner for this initiative.

“Since they opened their doors 11 years ago, they made a point to support local efforts like fundraisers, benefits, now providing space for the farmers market to continue into the fall. They’ve also made a point to put as many local ingredients on their menu as possible,” Davis said.

The first indoor farmers market will be every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Weasel Boy. It will begin on November 3rd and go until December 15th. You can find more information by going to Weasel Boys website or the Farmers Market website.
