Family program at the John McIntire Library

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Library System has a great way to get into the holiday spirit.

The Children’s Theater of Cincinnati will be stopping by to put on “Bah Humbug! A One-Man Christmas Carol”.  Assistant Librarian Caleb Stewart said the show will tell the Christmas Carol story, with a bit of a twist.

“It’s a one man Christmas Carol and the guy who’s doing it will be playing all the different parts,” said Stewart. “He’ll do Scrooge, he’ll do Marley, traditional Christmas Carol story but just with one character doing everybody.”

Stewart said having the Children’s Theater at the library is always a treat. He said their shows are great for families and that they enjoy their partnership with them.

“So we’ve been partnering with Cincinnati Children’s Theater for quite a few years, we have them here usually about four to five times a year depending on the number of shows they do,” said Stewart. “So it’s been a recurring thing and we love having them.”

Stewart said the show will be December 13th at 6:30 in the auditorium at the John McIntire Library. He said there are no tickets needed for the program, but that seating is done on a first come first served basis.
