Man Pleads Guilty After High-Speed Chase
A man authorities say they had to tase after a high-speed chase pled guilty Tuesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.
24-year-old Harold Small Junior pled guilty to a third-degree-felony charge of failure to comply. In return charges of driving under suspension and having no motorcycle endorsement will be dropped.
According to the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, on August 24th a trooper attempted to pull Small over on Interstate 70 near the Adamsville exit. Small did not stop his motorcycle and led officers from the Patrol, Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office and Zanesville Police Department on a high-speed chase. Authorities say Small crashed on the West Pike in front of McDonald’s, he then attempted to flee on foot and was tased.
Judge Mark Fleegle continued Small’s bond at $50,000. He remains in the Muskingum County Jail.
