Christmas Eve Shoppers

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Tomorrow is officially Christmas Day, and yet there are still people out there doing their last minute shopping.

Colony Square Mall was filled with people today, crossing items off their shopping list. One shopper, Jordan Ernst, was shopping with his family, he said mall workers were very helpful with the last minute shoppers.

“A lot of customer service has been pretty great here. We found our stuff pretty quick. Any questions that we’ve got, they do answer them very quick, and very helpful. It helps with the last minute shopping that we do end up doing,” he said.

Ernst added it was important to buy their things early on Christmas Eve, to cross it off as soon as they could.

“We’re just visiting our grandparents so they figured, I’m up early in the morning anyway so let’s just go and get it done. So that’s pretty much why we’re here so early. So then we can get back, across the state so we can celebrate on Christmas Day with the rest of our family,” he said.

Colony Square Mall will be closed tomorrow, but reopens on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
