Christ’s Table Christmas Dinner

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- No one had to spend their Christmas alone today, Christ’s Table had its doors open for members of the community.
Christ’s Table served its annual Christmas Dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. They had the classic ham and yams meal for everyone, and homemade cookies as well. Executive Director of Christ’s Table, Keely Warden, said every one they serve is family, and what better way to spend the holidays than with family?
“Our community blesses us every year with all the goodies to make Christmas dinner happen. We just find it, how it’s really important to be here today with our family. And it’s been wonderful,” Warden said.
Santa even made a little stop at Christ’s Table to say hi and treat them. Christ’s Table thanks every one who volunteered and said they would love to see this much spirit every day, not just on Christmas.
“It’s very important. You need to pay it forward, and this is a good way to do it,” June Smith said.
Christ’s Table will also be open for New Year’s coming up next week.
