Malta Man Sentenced In 2008 Murder

A Malta man was sentenced Tuesday in connection the murder of a Morgan County man in 2008. Morgan County Prosecutor Mark Howdyshell says that 25-year-old Christopher Border is now facing 15-years to life in prison for the murder of Rodney Spencer on September 24th of 2008 at his home at 256 Dale Street. He also faces an additional 3 years in custody for an aggravated arson charge. Border pled guilty to the charges before the sentencing. Howdyshell says a co-defendant in the case, 20-year-old Christopher Clark was recently found competent to stand trial in the same case. He faces similar charges.
