Monday Power Outages

American Electric Power reports that crews are hard at work across the state as high winds have caused power outages.
As of 8:30 A.M. AEP reported the following power outage numbers for counties in our viewing area:
- Muskingum: 1,613
- Licking: 1,274
- Morgan: 731
- Noble: 102
- Perry: 244
- Guernsey: 225
- Coshocton: 1,077
AEP said due to winds still over 30mph in many areas, they are climbing poles for safety reasons instead of using buckets. They’ve had reports of many downed wires and the current broken pole count in the state is at more than 90.
More details, including restoration times will come later Monday morning. But, Sunday the power company said they expected to have the majority of customers back on by Noon Monday, though some work could carry over into Tuesday.
AEP Ohio warns customers to stay away from all downed wires and to be aware of broken limbs and branches that may not have fallen yet.
