AEP working to restore power to area customers

GAHANNA, Ohio–American Electric Power crews continue to work hard to restore service to area customers after the recent high winds.
As of 5:00 p.m. Monday, Muskingum County has just under 500 customers without service. In Perry, Morgan and Licking , there are around 300 customers in each county still without power. In Noble and Coshocton, less than 150 customers are without service in each county. In Guernsey county , there are less than 100 customers without power.
Estimated restoration times by area are as follows:
Cambridge – Noon Tuesday
Coshocton – Noon Tuesday
Crooksville – 11 p.m. Monday
McConnelsville – 11 p.m. Monday
Newark – 4 p.m. Wednesday
Zanesville – 6 p.m. Tuesday
AEP Ohio warns that broken tree limbs, weakened trees and downed power lines continue to be a concern.
Downed wires should always be considered energized and dangerous and reported to 911 and AEP Ohio.
