ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Going to the Muskingum County Fair is always on the list of things to do in town, and the Fair Board has announced the amazing things to check out this year.

The 173rd Annual Fair will take place August 11th through the 17th. The grandstand line-up includes truck and tractor pulls, harness racing, a rough truck contest, and something new called KOI drag racing. Headlining the Friday night show is the Oak Ridge Boys, a popular country group who has earned two CMA awards and a Grammy.

“We have the Oak Ridge Boys, and we’re looking forward to that show. We believe that’s going to be a good seller for us and a good concert,” said Vice President of the Senior Fair Board of Muskingum County, Dave Kreis.

The Fair represents a place of gather for locals and that encouraged the Fair Board to make it a fun event for the entire community.

“The Fair is all about family, community, and heritage and we have all of that going on here all week. And we just like to have nice events to attract people to come in,” Kreis said.

Tickets for the Oak Ridge Boys show go on sale Saturday, March 2nd at 9 a.m. at the Muskingum County Fair’s website.
