Three Taken to Hospital After Accident

Three people were taken to the hospital after a crash Thursday evening on the West Pike. It happened around 6:40 in front of the Moose Lodge.

According to Trooper Stephen Williams with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, Zackary Mclefresh of Zanesville was traveling westbound on U.S. 40 when he went left-of-center and crashed into a Chevy Lumina driven by Gary Caplinger of Hopewell. Caplinger and two juveniles in his vehicle were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Trooper Williams says Mclefresh was cited for traveling left-of-center.
