Doggy Day: Pickles

Pickles

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center has a new furry friend looking for a forever home.

Meet Pickles. She is a four month old puppy, with a very calm personality. Deputy Dog Warden, Brittany Calihan said they are unsure what type of dog she is because of the different markings on her skin and how much extra skin she has, but Pickles is adorable nonetheless. Pickles has only been at the Dog Warden and Adoption Center for one week and will be available tomorrow.

“She’s so sweet and relaxed. Like I said, she definitely likes being held. I don’t know how big she’ll get, so I don’t know how long someone will be able to do that, but she likes when you hold her. And she just likes to snuggle with you,” she said.

You can join the Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center for their Music Trivia For Mutts event on SaturdayMarch 30th at 6 p.m at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Music trivia covers all genres, and there will be prizes for the top three teams. Test your music knowledge while supporting the displaced dogs of Muskingum County.

“All the dogs, you know, they really appreciate it. They need a new building, and it’ll be nice if all the dogs can go inside and outside. That’s what it’s for,” Calihan added.

Pickle’s adoption fee is $105, and will be updated on all her shots once she leaves. If you want to register for the Music Trivia event just message the Facebook page, The Volunteers of Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center.
