Washington Sentenced for Burglary
Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court a Zanesville man was sentenced to four years and 11 months in prison for burglary and theft charges.
Judge Kelly Cottrill sentenced 38-year-old Isaac Washington III to four years for felony theft and burglary charges related to a June break-in at the Disabled American Veterans Building on Moxahala Avenue in Zanesville. He sentenced him to 11 additional months in prison on an unrelated theft by deception charge.
Authorities say they arrested Washington shortly after the burglary at the D.A.V and found evidence linking him to the crime. Washington pled guilty to the charges last month.
