Bomb Threat At Mid-East Career Center

Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says the Mid-East Career and Technology Center was evacuated Tuesday  due to a bomb threat.

Sheriff Lutz says a threatening note was found in a men’s bathroom on a wall by a student around 2:30 pm. 

The note said there was a bomb in the school.  Sheriff Lutz says a bomb sniffing dog was used to sweep the school and did not discover anything. 

Lutz says now an investigation is underway to find who wrote the threatening note.

 Meanwhile, The Adult Center Classes for Tuesday night will be held as scheduled.
