Man Pleads Guilty in Rape Case

A Zanesville man pled guilty to a bill of information Wednesday in relation to a first-degree-felony charge of rape.

20-year-old Walter Reed made the plea in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. Court documents state the crime took place sometime between September 1- 23, 2008.

Judge Mark Fleegle ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set Reed’s bond at $100,000.
