Mid-East Career Center Teacher Guilty Of Sex With Student

A former local teacher pled guilty Wednesday to sexual battery with one of her students. This morning in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court 32-year-old Bridget Todd of Guernsey County pled guilty to one count of sexual battery and one count of pandering obscenity involving a minor. In court it was revealed that between June 1st and June 30th Todd exchanged nude photos via text message with a male student. The court also said she was involved in sex acts with the student in her classroom. Todd was a history teacher on the high school side of Mid-East Career and Technology Center. Judge Mark Fleegle ordered a pre-sentence investigation and set her bond at $50,000. She faces six and a half years in prison and is currently being held in the Muskingum County Jail.
