Man Sentenced for Stabbing

A Zanesville man is sentenced to two years in prison for an August stabbing in Washington Township.

40-year-old Brian Wilson was sentenced on felonious assault and domestic violence charges Wednesday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court by Judge Mark Fleegle.

According to the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, on August 8th Wilson stabbed his wife Stacy at home at 2835 Adamsville Road and then stabbed himself. He plead guilty to the Both Wilsons were treated and released at the hospital.
