Memorial Booklet on Sale

There’s a chance for those interested in history to own a booklet that captures every moment of the World War II/Korean War Memorial.

The new fifteen page booklet is a picture by picture memory of the monument from it’s inception, through fundraising and the dedication of the monument in November.

"There’s a lot of good information in this little booklet and we felt anybody that was not there maybe would want the booklet or those that were there would really want the booklet," explained Muskingum County Veteran’s Council Member Jeff Dittmar.

Dittmar said the project has meant not only a great deal to those involved in it’s creation, but for those it honors.

"There’s been a lot of welling up in tears," said Dittmar. "They felt as though they would never be given their just due."

The booklet costs $10.00 and can be purchased at Dittmar Insurance, Muskingum County Commissioners’ Office or Franklin Printing.
