Over The Limit…Under Arrest

If you’re over the limit this New Year’s, you will be under arrest. The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol will be out in full force watching out for drunk drivers this New Year’s holiday.

"If you’ve had anything to drink, out of caution, call somebody. It never hurts to have somebody take you home, " says Zanesville Post State Trooper Adam Mckenzie.

Mckenzie says alcohol is part of almost everyone’s agenda on New Year’s Eve but just don’t get behind the wheel.

"You know there’s nothing wrong with doing that as long as you find a designated driver. Get home safely; that’s the key there."

If you do not have a designated driver, do not take a chance, there are a number of taxi services in the Zanesville area.
