McHenry Pleads Not Guilty In Death Of Her Dad

The Philo woman charged in the shooting death of her father appeared in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.

19-year-old Jennifer Lynn McHenry pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated murder with a firearm specification.

On June 15th the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office was called to 660 Irish Ridge Road and found 56-year-old Donald McHenry dead in the front yard.

In a 9-1-1 call released by the Sheriff’s Office Jennifer McHenry said her father tried to kill her.

Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill continued the defendant’s bond at  $1.5 million .

If convicted McHenry faces life in prison .
