Finalists Compete in Zanesville Has Talent
Up-and-coming stars shined on stage in the final round of Zanesville Has Talent.
About 300 people packed into the Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center to cheer on the remaining 20 contestants. Singers, dancers and even a yo-yo performer showed off their routines in front of a panel of judges. Ana Presley and Karley Kidd say their dance is jammed with action.
"We do a couple of flips," said Ana. "We also do some body rolls," said Karley. "It would be a good routine to do just to get in shape, because there isn’t a time when we just stand there."
Lexi Bubenchik goes to the same dance school as Ana and Karley. Lexi said she started clog dancing because she liked the noise the shoes make, and even an injury can’t stop her from competing.
"I sprained my ankle when I fell out of my flip flop," said Lexi. "I’m suffering from that, but I’m going to try my best with it today."
