Kenneth Earl Stotts (June 19, 1928 – November 6, 2011)

Kenneth Earl Stotts, 83, of Zanesville passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Kenneth was born on June 19, 1928 in Gilbert (Muskingum County, Ohio) to the late James Franklin and Ethel Hittle Stotts. Kenneth was a retired Independent Truck Driver. He was a member of the Washington Township Baptist Church, American Legion , Eagles and proudly served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Janet Fusner Stotts of the home whom he married December 9, 1967, a daughter Tamara (Donald) Carpenter of Zanesville, a son Keith (Nikki) Stotts of Blue Rock, two brothers Ralph (Isabelle) Stotts of White Cottage and Merlin Stotts of Zanesville, two sisters Eloise Shriver of Zanesville and Shirley (Walter) Sipos of Zanesville. Six grandchildren: Zack, Nick, and Luke Carpenter, Colten, Conner, and Kalee Stotts. His special little friends: Maddy Wortman, Ryan, Conner, Gavyn, and Summer Rider. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Eight brothers: Leslie, Harold, Ray, Lee, Donnie, Dale, Gary, and Fory Stotts.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8pm on Tuesday November 8, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday in The Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Chris Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Township Baptist Church Cemetery with full Military honors provided by George Selsam VFW Post 1058.
