Ann M. Amicone (June 21, 1925 – January 15, 2012)

Ann M. Amicone, 86 of Nashport died peacefully at the home of her granddaughter, Alainna, on Sunday, January 15, 2012.

She was born June 21, 1925 in Sharpsburg, PA the daughter of Kazmier and Mary Sulmicka Siwek.

She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church . She was a homemaker & had been employed as a sales representative for Emerson’s Clothing, she ran the concession stand and cooked at the Kids Club at the Fieldhouse. She lived the rest of her life as a
full-time grandmother to her seven grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her daughter Susan (John David) Morgan of Zanesville; a son Michael A. “Mick” (Harriet Kanaroi) Amicone of Nashport; seven grandchildren, Tina (Seth) Gundelfinger & Chad Morgan, Alainna (Zack) Durfee, Maria, Michael, Katelyne & Matthew Amicone; three great grandchildren Lincoln and Griffin Gundelfinger and Sophia Durfee; by several nieces and nephews including her special niece Sandi Johns of Pittsburgh PA.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Michael A. Amicone and several brothers & sisters.

She will be greatly missed but left us with lots of memories to keep us smiling. There was never a dull moment when in her company.

A public memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday January 20th at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 144 North Fifth Street Zanesville with Fr. Jordan Turano as celebrant. The family will greet friends after the service.
