Julia E. Hall, 100, passed away Tuesday eveningat 10:40 pm, February 21, 2012 at the Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on December 10, 1911 daughter to the late Otis and Jessie (Fulton) Connor.

Mrs. Hall was homemaker by nature, loving to cook and keep house. She started her nurses training in 1935 and worked for Grace Hospital in Detroit.

She was also a member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church in Cumberland for many years.

Julia is survived by one son, Ashley Lynn (Alice Jean) Hall of Cumberland, and daughter in law Rachel Hall of Cumberland. 3 granddaughters: Kim (Troy) Scott of Cumberland, Crystal (Scott) Tubbs of Powell and Megan (Kevin) Mowder of Lewisville. 8 great grandchildren: Adam and Ashley (Reese) Hall, Alex Scott, Autumn, Luke, and Grant Tubbs, and Kamryn and Amber Mowder.

She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond, who passed away on December 22, 1992, whom she married on October 31, 1938, a son Doug Hall passed away June 12, 2000, a sister Ruth Ford passed away Nov 16, 2001 and infant brother.

Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Friday February 24h at the Farus Funeral Home, in Cumberland where services will be held 1 pm on Saturday with the Rev Jim Gibson officiating.

Burial will be in the Cumberland Cemetery.
