Dorothy Jean Head (July 4, 1927 – April 22, 2014)

ROSEVILLE
Dorothy Jean Head, 86 of Roseville went to be with the Lord at 10:30pm on April 22, 2014 at her home.
She was born July 4, 1927 a daughter of the late Alice (Saxton) and Charles Arthur Dickerson. She married George E. Head April 5, 1947 and was a devoted wife until his death on October 8, 2000. She was a devoted loving mother of seven, four sons George W. (Lana) Head and Gary Head (Myra Beisser) of Roseville, Jack (Susan) Head of Mt. Perry and Tim Head of Crooksville; three daughters Cathy Snedegar of East Fultonham, Connie (Dennis) Turner of Fultonham and Jane (Donald) Pettit of Crooksville; 22 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 27 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is one brother, Arthur (Bev) Dickerson and two sisters Kate (Dick) Scott and June Wiseman.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son George W. Head; daughter-in-law Patricia Kay Fresh and brother-in-law Walter Wiseman.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Thursday April 24, 2014 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 33 MAIN STREET ROSEVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday April 25, 2014 at the funeral home with Evangelist Lester Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
