Bruce Thomas Blagg (April 2, 1938 – September 7, 2011)

Bruce Thomas Blagg, 73, of Crooksville passed away on Wednesday September 7, 2011, at home following a long illness. His last day was spent with loved ones at his bedside.
Bruce was born on April 2, 1938 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Madolin Berrisford Blagg. He Graduated from Deavertown High School and retired in 2004 from Cesco Corp. of Crooksville. Bruce’s favorite pastimes were fishing, watching baseball, and getting hugs from his great grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Danita (Ron) Jadwin of Glenford and Georgia Brumage of Roseville. A son Marti (Traci) Blagg of Crooksville. Grandchildren: Eric (Jackie) Brumage who took care of him till the end, Dustin Blagg, Brandon Blagg, Brianna (Fred) Bobb, Austin Blagg, and Shaun Brumage. Great Grandchildren : Cierra Bobb, Autumn Bobb, Gage Brumage, and Cole Brumage. A brother, Kenneth (Shirley) Blagg of Crooksville, a sister Barbara Miller of Roseville, sisters-in-law: Leola (Bob) Schrader of Logan, Wanda (Dave) Uhas of Columbus, a brother-in-law Bill (Sherrie) Estep of Newark. He also had several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Betty Joan Estep Blagg who passed away in 2005.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday September 8, 2011 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11am on Friday. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery in Portersville.
