Michael J. “Joe” Pickrell (May 29, 1946 – September 16, 2011)

Michael J. “Joe” Pickrell age 65 of Crooksville passed away Friday September 16, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Zanesville, OH on May 29, 1946 the son of the late John and Florence Jones Pickrell. After a career of truck driving, Joe retired from Ruan Trucking and later worked at Advanced Auto. Joe loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, was a member of the Eagles, Teamsters and enjoyed spending time with friends at Hunters Run.
Joe is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his four children Janie Pickrell; daughters Jodi (Jody) Seals of Crooksville and Janet (Larry) Lucas of Corning; two sons Jared Pickrell of Corning and John “Jr.” (Nikki) Pickrell of Moxahala; one sister Susie (Terry) Blosser of Crooksville; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Monday September 19, 2011 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 207 BURLEY ST. CROOKSVILLE where funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday September 20, 2011 . Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery.
