Bertha L. Gale (February 3, 1925 – January 24, 2012)

ZANESVILLE
Bertha L. Gale, 86 of Zanesville passed away Tuesday January 24, 2012 at the Adams Lane Care Center. She was born in Sonora a daughter of the late Floyd and Carrie Marshall Leasure. She was retired from Conn’s Potato Chips and had previously worked at Mosaic Tile. She was a member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church, F.O.E. and formally the DAV Auxiliary.
She is survived by one daughter Rebecca (Gregory) Floom of Columbus, OH; one son Robert C. Gale of Dresden; two sisters Bernice (Clyde) Estadt of Zanesville and Mildred (Dean) Dozer of Ft. Myers FL.
In additions to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence R. Gale on July 15, 1991 and one sister Lillie Mae Kennison.
Calling hours will be2-4 and 6-8 on Thursday January 26, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. MILITARY RD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday January 27, 2012 in the Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Dr. Steven Fewell officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231 or to the American Cancer Society P.O.
