Mary L. Orr (June 15, 1927 – January 29, 2012)

Mary L. Orr, age 84 of Nashport, died Sunday January 29, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center.

She was born June 15, 1927 in Springfield, OH and was the daughter of the late James E. and Mary G. Dunnigan Leonard.

Mary was a member of First Christian Church and a nursing assistant for 21 years at Good Samaritan Medical Center.

Surviving are her daughters: Carolyn S. Orr of Nashport and Deborah E. Orr of Venice, FL, a son and daughter-in-law; Fred W. and Ruth N. Orr of Malta, a granddaughter, Alison R. (Brian) Rakowiecki of Phoenixville, PA, a great grandson, Ethan Rakowiecki, sister-in-law, Florence Wilson of Caldwell ; brother-in-law, Charles (Lucille) Orr of Massillon, OH and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Orr, Sr. who died Aug 15, 1993 and two brothers: William H. Leonard and James E. Leonard.

Calling hours will be from 4 – 8 pm Tuesday January 31, 2012 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Funeral services will be held at 12 (noon) February 1, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Barbara Morrison officiating. Committal services will follow at Deerfield Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
