Helen L. Tilley (November 12, 1926 – July 8, 2012)

Helen L. Tilley, 85, of Zanesville, passed away at 6:15 PM Sunday July 8, 2012 at Emeritus at North Hills.

She was born November 12, 1926 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Chester and Grace Hunter Gladman. Helen enjoyed going to yard sales, working in her yard and garden. Her most enjoyment was spending time with her family.

Helen is survived by her daughter: Darla K. McCarty of Nashport, son: Robert L.”Bob” (Martha) Tilley of Zanesville, grandson: Tommy (Carrie) McCarty, great grandchildren: Michael and Natalie McCarty, sister: Betty Tilley of Zanesville, brother: Bob (Glenna) Gladman of Dresden and several nieces and nephews especially Sue Laris.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband: Robert L. “Leon” Tilley who died October 22, 2003, son-in-law: Mike McCarty, brothers: Jack, Junior, and Raymond Gladman, sister: Mary Hardy.

Friends may call 12:30 – 1:30 Wednesday July 11, 2012 at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave. followed by graveside services at St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora with Rev. Mark Mealick officiating.
