Berniece Benjamin (November 22, 1926 – July 16, 2012)

Berniece “DOT” Benjamin, 85, of Philo, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, at 11:10 am at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Berniece was born November 22, 1926 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Albert and Mammie (Hern) Jenkins. She is a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall Church.

Berniece is survived by her two sons, Thomas (Lisa Pletcher) Jenkins of Duncan Falls and John (Crystal) Benjamin of Philo, a daughter Pamela (Dave) Tetak of Philo, five grandchildren Shannon, Adam, Amber, Aaron and Nancy and two great grandsons Hayden and Ethan, a brother Dale Jenkins of Philo. A favorite neice Karen Snyder. Neices are Sherry Hartley and Carol Jenkins. Nephew Bob Jenkins.

In addition to her parents, Berniece is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Benjamin who passed away June 11, 2004, her brothers Wink, Talford, and Kurt Jenkins. Her sister was Ida Leininger.

Visitations will be 1 to 3 pm Wednesday at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls where funeral services will be at 3 pm . Rev Glenn Smith officiating and she will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
