Lois Elaine Bost (May 3, 1930 – July 27, 2012)

ZANESVILLE
Lois E. Bost, 82, of Zanesville, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born May 3, 1930 in Lansing, Michigan to the late David Everett and Sara Arbogast Echelberry. She retired as a selector/packer for Owens Brockway and was Methodist by faith.
Surviving are her three sons, David Bradley, Steven (Rebecca) Bradley, and Jerry (Lynn) Bradley; one step-daughter, Ellen Barrett, all of Zanesville; and one step-son, Tom (Ruth) Bost of Danville, VA; two sisters, Barbara Cravenor and Shirley (Mont) West, both of Zanesville; fourteen grandchildren, Tommy, Kim, Dana, Danielle, Stevie, Shannon, Wendy, Erin, Jerra, Jill, Jody, Jamie, Megan, and Britney; twenty-five great-grandchildren and an additional great-granddaughter arriving in October (her namesake, Lois Rebecca); many close friends and neighbors; and two special dogs, Harry and Oliver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William E. “Bill†Bradley, her second husband, Norman J. Bost; her sisters, Doris Campbell and W.Jean Crawford; a son, Jeffrey L. Bradley; and a step-son, Michael N. (Pooh) Bost.
Friends and family may call Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at The SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W. MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 12 noon at the funeral home with her niece, Rev. Maxine Baker officiating. Lois will be laid to rest next to her first husband, William, at Duncan Falls Cemetery.
