Richard L. “Dick” Daniels (June 3, 1928 – December 6, 2013)

Richard L. “Dick” Daniels, 85, of Roseville, passed away December 6, 2013 at his residence with his lovely wife of 65 years by his side. He was born June 3, 1928 in East Fultonham, OH, to the late Ivan and Margaret (Bussey) Daniels. Dick retired from Columbia Concrete where he was a Mechanical Engineer. After retirement Dick started and ran a Professional Land Surveying company. Dick was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he served on the Lutheran Church Counsel for several years. He also served on The Roseville Board of City Affairs and was the head of the Roseville Babe Ruth Baseball league. Dick is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Sue (Hubbard) Daniels; son, Mike (Jane) Daniels; brother, Larry Daniels; sisters, Mary Ann Riffle and Linda Mitchell; grandchildren, Brian, Joe (Nikole), Kris (Jennifer) and Trent (Raina); great-grandchildren, Brandon, Keyona, Nate, Drew, Afton, Bryor, Caseon, Evie and great-great-grandchild, Alex. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Eugene Daniels. Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 33 NORTH MAIN STREET ROSEVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at The St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 104 N. Main St. Roseville with Pastor Alex Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
