Helen R. Wood , 87 of Nashport died at 5:00am Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center.
She was born on August 3, 1926 in Noble County the daughter of George and Mary Sedlock Cartell.
Helen was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church , a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking and most of all taking care of her family.
She is survived by two children; Becky Harris of Nashport, Ron Wood of Florida; four grandchildren, Randy Wood, Kimberlee (Christian) Krugel, Amy (Jason) Lumbatis and Ronna Baker; and five great grandchildren. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Jack H. Wood, 8 brothers & 3 sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, June 23, 2014 at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Mark Matzke officiating.
